Ostuni

Ostuni is known for its whitewashed old town and picturesque streets with many bars and restaurants. Make sure to check out Borgo Antico Bistrot and Bellavista Pizzeria.

Lecce

Lecce is one of the most beautiful towns in Puglia, with its honey-coloured stone buildings. If you decide to extend your trip to Italy, don't hesitate to book a night at La Fiermontina. The hotel's museum is also well worth a visit.

Matera

Although Matera is not located in Puglia (but in Basilicata), it is only a two-hour drive from Ostuni and is probably (in our opinion) the most beautiful town in Italy. If you're a fan of James Bond (No Time to Die), you'll certainly recognise this town, which was used as a backdrop for the first few minutes of the film. If you would like to see the bridge featured in the movie, then head to Gravina in Puglia.

Sea Towns

Puglia is also famous for its coastline and magnificent beaches. So it would be a shame to miss out on towns such as Polignano A Mare, Monopoli and Gallipoli. And if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, the Grotta Palazzese restaurant in Polignano awaits you in breathtaking surroundings.

Grottaglie

Grottaglie is a town about 30 minutes from Ostuni, famous for its many ceramic artisans. We particularly recommend a visit to Nicola Fasano's shop, whose ceramics are used at Masseria Moroseta, among other places.

Wine Tasting

Some of the best wines of Italy come from Puglia. If you get the chance, we recommend you do a wine tasting before you leave. We particularly enjoyed visiting Li Veli (and their Askos Susumaniello). Further north, near Bari, the Tenuta Bocca di Lupo is also well worth a visit.

Beach Clubs

Puglia has some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, including the Salento maledives. Why not spend (half) a day in one of the beach clubs? We particularly recommend Coccaro beach club, Le Palme and the famous Cinque Vele.
